Pedriatic services

The initial meeting is always held virtually, for both home-based and entirely virtual services. This initial one-hour meeting serves to initiate the assessment or consultation. A discussion of home functioning, key issues and the family's priority takes place. If the assessment is continued with us, a $75 file opening fee is added.

At-home assessment and follow-up meeting

 Occupational Therapy assessments are typically carried out in person, with the Occupational Therapist visiting the family's residence to conduct the assessment. It is recommended that the child wear comfortable attire, including running shoes. The assessment typically spans from 2 to 6 sessions, each lasting 50 minutes. Recommendations will be provided after each meeting. Subsequent follow-up meetings will be invoiced at the same rate as the initial evaluation.

Virtual consultation

The virtual consultation involves multiple sessions, typically focused on parent or adult coaching.

Evaluation report

At the end of the assessment, the family may choose to request a formal assessment report, in which case a writing fee will apply. Depending on the evaluation, this can take from 3 to 5 hours. All other professional notes or letters are billed at the same rate.

Travel expenses.          

      Travel expenses are calculated on the basis of travel time from Ahuntsic-Cartierville in Montreal to        your home and back.

Emmanuelle Beaulieu, Founder of Imagine la vie - Ergothérapie

Emmanuelle Beaulieu, Occupational Therapist, offers pediatric occupational therapy services in-home, at daycare/school, and remotely. She has many years of experience in child psychiatry working with children with or without diagnosis (ASD, ADHD, oppositional disorder, motor developmental delay).

She believes that every child should have access to a learning experience that’s adapted to their needs and to all necessary resources to foster their success. Her goal is to help children from the community thrive and develop their full potential by offering them occupational therapy services.
